I’m once again looking forward to attending TechEx Global 2026 in London at Olympia from 4-6 February; it's been a firm date in my diary for some years now and for good reason.

Situated at the intersection of AI, cyber-security, IoT and real-time automation, the conference presents a rare opportunity to examine the structural challenge we face: how to convert legacy systems, operational silos and human-centred workflows into seamless, live-automation ecosystems. It’s also a great opportunity to meet with like-minded technologists to share views and explore innovation.

In my view, three sessions in particular merit close attention; not simply as academic exercises, but as directly relevant to the mission we pursue at TrustPortal.

1. “Scaling Intelligence – Platforms for AI, Big Data & Automation” This session addresses the architecture of intelligence at scale; how machine-learning models, large-scale data flows and automation engines converge. At TrustPortal we encounter these issues daily: our real-time automation platform must ingest events, apply enterprise rules, orchestrate multi-system workflows while an advisor remains on the call. The key question: how do you align data-science promise with operations reality? This talk will help refine our strategy for embedding automation into live service.

2. “Cyber-Security & Cloud: Risk, Resilience and Real-Time Orchestration” In the world of agentic automation; where one action triggers many across systems, security is not optional. The session on cyber-security is thus central. We must ensure that our automation does not simply accelerate outcomes, but does so with full audit, compliance and resilience built in.

At TrustPortal, one of our differentiators is that we retain control, governance and visibility even as the system executes in real time. I look forward to hearing how peers are maintaining integrity in this fast-moving space.

3. “The IoT-Enabled Enterprise: Edge, Automation and Data-Driven Ecosystems” When we talk about agentic automation we often focus on humans and systems within an enterprise; this talk expands the aperture to the connected world of devices, edge platforms and automation pipelines beyond the CRM. For TrustPortal this resonates: we believe real-time processes increasingly bridge agent, system and device. Whether onboarding is triggered by a sensor, or a billing adjustment happens in near-real time because of edge-data, the future is live, not batch. This session will help us frame our approach to the next wave of automation.

Why this matters to TrustPortal and our customers Our mission is to enable organisations to solve one process today and transform a thousand tomorrow. Real-time agentic automation is not a feature; it is a capability that turns inherent complexity into operational clarity. Attending TechEx Global 2026 allows us to return with three things: refined frameworks, actionable dialogue, and the renewed conviction that when technology works, the advisor remains centred and the system becomes invisible.

If you will be at the event; whether your interest lies in generative AI applied to service workflows, secure orchestration of legacy-systems, or the edge-driven future of real-time enterprise, I’d welcome your insight and collaboration.

Look forward to catching up at TechEx next month. www.techexevent.com
